In Prince George

Today the sky is clear and it is beautiful, like it was yesterday. I know we did not enter anything for a couple of days, so lets go back in time.

After Lake Louise we spent a day of water and Sheep. The water came in two forms. First the Glacier. we took a ride out on the glacier, we have walked on a glacier. Wow, lots of ice and snow. Yes, it was cold. Very cold. but had a great time. Saw lots of other glaciers as we drove north on the Icefield Parkway, from Lake Louise to Jasper.
After the glacier it was wonder and amazing waterfalls. We saw two great ones. We also got some walking in to see them. Very different falls, but spectacular.
Then we ended the day at the Miette Hot Springs. Where we stayed at place next to them. They are located East of Jasper and 17 km off the Highway. Remote is a good word. It was wonderful to sit in natural hot water at 40 degrees C. and look at snow covered peaks. Wow.
As for sheep, Mountain Sheep, of course. We had to stop on the Parkway for three rams. Then we had to avoid them in the parking lot of the Hot Springs.
Yesterday we got up and had breakfast back in Jasper. Then headed west where we finally arrived in Prince George. On the way we saw, mountains, waterfalls, and a bear.(no pictures) sleeping along the Highway. It raised its head when we slowed down and looked. More driving than sightseeing.
First picture is Mary on the Glacier. Second picture of Rearguard Falls. The last place the salmon have to climb.
